Meridian Studios primarily focuses on Wedding Photography. This leaves us with a lot of time on our hands during the winter months. We decide to offer our Open Air Photo Booth (we refer to it as the Selfy Stand) services to non prophets who are hosting a fundraising event.
The Selfy Stand is an awesome way for your guest to promote your charity. Your guest will be posting the images all over social media. One of the important aspects of a fundraiser is keeping up the momentum after the event. The Selfy Stand turns your guest into a 'marketing super power' for your next event. Take for example the Briging Bed Race hosted at Buck Hill. 75 Teams used the Selfy Stand. The backdrop clearly displayed the : Cities 97.3fm banner, Bridgins Banner and the SubWay Dude mascot in each image. Each team has 4 members. "Just like that" each sponsor now has 300 people posting the images with their banners all over Social Medea.
Much of the availability will be during the winter mounts, but don't hesitate to contact us for spring, summer and fall events. If we have someone available we would love to help.
In order to keep the service free, we will not be printing the images but instead hosting the images on SmugMug.com. Your guest can right click the images and down lode them from SmugMug free of charge.
You will also receive a link to Google Drive so you can down lode all the images and a license to use the images. As the event coordinator you will need to obtain model release or permissions from your guest to use the images online or in print. Most events incorporate this in with the ticket sale or event registration form.
Thar is no such thing as a free lunch. So you'r wondering whats in it for Meridian Studios? This is simply a way to introduce or studio to more people in the community. Yes Smug Mug can print the images for a small fee (You guest can right click an image and down lode it free of charge). I have the image price about as low as Smug Mug will allow. In the last 5 years the money from image sales has not covered the Smug Mug yearly fee.
